At the beginning of this class, choose your favorite lunch box and wear an apron.
Cooking starts from making traditional Japanese broth 'Dashi'. After that, you make seven basic Japanese dishes often eaten at home, using Wagyu (Japanese beef), shrimp, salmon, egg, squash and mushroom, green vegetable, also make triangular rice balls.
In this experience, you acquire various cooking techniques such as frying, grilling, simmering and marinade. In addition, after practicing to make triangular shapes using plastic molds, you complete two rice balls.
When all the dishes are completed, please try packing in a lunch box with fresh vegetables! Your instructor advises on an attractive pack way.
At the end, place the dishes, along with chopsticks and let's say “Itadakimasu”! Please enjoy the meal you made served with the complimentary Miso soup.

Fumi was a wonderful host that helped us to understand what we were making along the way with proper technique. It ended up tasting and looking delicious
We will go away with a desire to make these dishes at home and knowing how to do so

I had a great time cooking my own bento. Fumisan is a great cook and taught me carefully and gracefully on how to prepare everything. I highly recommend adding this activity to your Osaka trip. 🥰 Arigatou gozaimasu.

Great experience and time flies as you prepare several distinct dishes and finish with putting them all together in a beautiful wooden bento box (borrowed to eat at class). Our instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly, she answered all our questions and spoke excellent English to explain the cooking process and answer any of our questions.

This was such fun experience and easy enough for my 12 year old daughter to follow. Yumi was a great teacher and made sure we could all participate in every dish prepared. My daughter really enjoys cooking and eating Japanese food- we both loved this cooking class.

Fumi-san is a very kind, cute, and informative person! I found that by joining an offline class, we were given informations that we usually did not get by watching things online. Thank you so much, it was one of the hightlights of my trip in Japan! We made 7 or 8 dishes and it gave us a glimpse of how simple yet nutritious these bentos are! Looking forward to doing more similar classes like this <3.
