This was just an amazing tour. We can't express how enjoyable Giulia made the day for us. Her knowledge and professionalism was over the top. By the end of the tour we had a real feel of life in Venice and being able to experience amazing food and drink made our first taste of Italy one that will stay with us forever. We would recommend Giulia and Liv Tours to anyone considering travel to Venice.

We ended up with a private tour but it wouldn’t have mattered if there were a few more. We had a Venetian guide who knew the best restaurants and history. Fantastic experience!

Greatly enjoyed our tour with Guilia, Who obviously loves her job. It was very evident that she is passionate about being a true local, having been born and raised here, we were introduced to some very tasty local food and drink.

We were introduced to the great markets of Venice— fish and vegetables— as well as the local stopping off points. It was a great cultural event!
Our guide, Eleonora, was fantastic! Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but so helpful and warm and friendly! She made the tours!!

Daria’s tour of the Venice market was such a trip highlight for our family! She was so knowledgeable and friendly, and provided incredible insight as a local Venetian. We toured the fish market (incredible variety of seafood!) and then we went to three delicious locations for ‘Cicchetti’ which were small bites accompanied by wine. We had local meatballs, local scallops and cod cream! What an experience, and we all tried things we would have never tried on our own since Daria provided such wonderful context on why the food was special. One of the biggest highlights was Daria’s suggestion for dinner at “trattoria Madonna” which is one of the few remaining authentic restaurants in Venice. Our dinner there was AMAZING and we would have never known about the gem had it not been for Daria. If you go to Venice, BOOK THIS TOUR. Exploring this special city through food is the best way to experience Venetian culture. 10/10

We loved this Venetian food experience! Alice, our guide, was so knowledgeable and friendly! We felt as if she was part of our family by the end of the tour. We highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get a feel for the history of cicchetti and the markets of Venice.

We did the private Cicchetti tour with Giulia. She was a great host and we really enjoyed sharing the day with her. We have young kids (7 and 12) and she adapted the itinerary to best fit our needs. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience.

Daniela was wonderful taking care of us on our tour. We enjoyed her so much. I can’t think of anything I would add. The tour was fabulous and we will recommend it to friends traveling to Venice. We are looking forward to our next Liv Tour in Rome. Liv Tour company is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Jennifer was our guide. And she was brilliant. Her explanation of the history of Venice including the markets and food were exceptional. Her choices of food and drink locations were perfect. Even a Gondola ride was included. This tour was so complete my wife and I felt like native Venetians. At one point I left my hat at the restaurant and she quickly made her way back to retrieve it. I feel like we made a friend and know Venice, it’s food, and it’s history so much better. Do this tour. If you can get Jennifer you will thank me. Perfection!
