Wow we had such an amazing time on our tour with Claudio. A great way to understand some of Palermo and Sicily’s history as well as sampling the best street food. Our guide was incredible, friendly and funny. We hope to come back and see Claudio at a Palermo football game when they get promoted next season :) until next time guys! Morgan and Bex!

Our guide Angelo was wonderfully pleasant, knowledgeable, entertaining, and kind. We are traveling with our parents and Angelo was very helpful and careful to ensure everyone in our small group stayed together. Angelo shared his intimate knowledge of Palermo and Sicily in a thoughtful and funny way. He made us fall in love with the city and its rich culture and local cuisine. The food was delicious! Go with an appetite!

We went to see two beautiful markets, enjoyed a variety of great food (excluded are fish and seafood) and cold beers. Our guide was lovely and shared many local details. Strongly recommend to take the tour.

Alessiso was a great guide. Not only did he take us to some fun places to eat but also knew a lot about the history of the areas include answering pretty much any of our questions even if they were non-food related. The tour gave me an opportunity to visit some areas of Palermo that I had not yet been to.

Our guide was engaging and a devout Sicilian! The tour started with two engaging stops, one at a very local back alley locale for beer, wine and "bacon wrapped onion"! This was passable. Next stop was a local trendy and fun bar for more spirits and focacia! Also quite passable. From this point, the tour and food declined. We visited a small square that was noted to be a "market" when open but was closed and dirty when we were there; we visited a vendor for a "spleen" sandwich, not for everyone but some enjoyed, however, very turned off by the ungloved hands of the vendor digging out the bun to make room for the meat; we then tasted three fried items, one seemingly fried dough, one potato and one a "sandwich", which was so soggy it was not edible to me; second to last was a "pizza sandwich" at a 24/7 hole in the wall and finally, and the highlight, gelati! Sorry to be so negative and perhaps we simply picked the wrong tour, but we really expected more quality and uniqueness from this three hour experience.
