Opening and closing times may vary during religious holidays or for force majeure. Ticket is valid for 3 days including day of the tour.

Great experience. We listened to our tour guide for about an hour around the duomo, hearing the history of the cathedral and Baptistry. We then climbed to the top of the dome. It’s not easy at all. If you have claustrophobia stay away. But once you get to the top it’s incredible. We only had time to go to the museum after that which I highly recommend.

We received these standard advisory notes: "Before your tour/activity begins, visit a redemption location below to redeem this ticket for your entry ticket. Please note this is NOT where your tour/activity departs." Our tour was booked for first thing Monday morning so we thought we would see if we could pick up our tickets on Sunday. It was no surprise when we could not see anyone at the redemption point, so we thought we would be sure to be early on Monday morning. We were also told in the paperwork that if you were carrying a backpack, you would have to leave it at a free luggage storage and be prepared for there being lines there. So, we thought it would be a good idea to get to the redemption point 30 - 45 minutes early. Our tour was booked for 10:15 and the tour operator showed up after 10:05. I wish I had known what to expect and when he would arrive. There was no need to stand about worrying whether we'd been scammed, as we were beginning to think, as there was no kiosk, no one who knew what we were referring to, either 'Trip Advisor' or 'Florence Pass'. But the tour was good.

Excellent - Well worth taking in this experience to climb the Duomo. Limited numbers so book early. Very knowledgeable local guide ensured we arrived in time for the allocated entry slot for the Duomo climb and put any backpacks into secure storage (no fee with ticket). Good value where our ticket also included the Cathedral, St John’s Baptistery, Giotto’s bell tower and Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. Ticket is valid for 3-days so we took the bell tower climb later.

Claudio was superb. His knowledge and passion for both the Basilica and Florence was apparent. I thoroughly enjoyed the 50minute tour, and the climb up the dome and views were such a great experience. I would highly recommend.

This was a great tour, just the right amount of time! The tour educates you from the outside, then you go to a side/private entrance and we had no line to enter to climb the dome. That alone was probably worth the tour because the lines were so long. We did not tour the inside of the church, just entered to climb and returned down to leave. The climb is steep and enclosed with small windows for air flow but not much. It would not be great for someone with a lot of claustrophobia. It was a great experience for us and our tour guide was great!

This tour was amazing! I had been to Florance and seen the Duomo a number of times but I never got to experience it! Our guide was outstanding and had enemies knowledge of the Duomo and the city itself! I’m so happy that I booked this tour and would honestly book it again! It was fun, professional, everything started in time an and an amazing this is all that you want when booking a tour. BOOK THIS TOUR ASAP!

It’s perfect if you just want to skip lines and do tours on your own. Big time saving.
Plus the tour guide explains a lot prior the entertainment of the dome so really just perfect if you want to manage visiting different parts of the dome in your own tempo and schedule.
