The guide was very informative and helpful. There were so many art pieces in Pitti Palace. There were many Raphael’s work.

Our guide was exceptional!!! The tour was indeed a small group that was only 6 including the guide.
I do not think we have ever had such a knowledgeable guide on any tour! And she had a wonderful way of imparting her knowledge.
I believe the Pitti gets overlooked because the Uffizi is better known. The ability to see Botticelli’s, Raffaello’s, Caravaggio’s, Tintoretto’s and others up close and personal without being packed in was exceptional!
I highly recommend this tour.

Loved this tour so much. Our guide was Camilla - an art restorer who understands and knows art to its core (both literally and figuratively). First of all, we went to the wrong place and were slightly late (by like 5-10 min) and someone met us and caught us up with the group which was so nice. Second, Camilla just made the art come alive. She knew what to focus on, the masterpieces, the interesting little known things, she mixed it up and made it come alive. She even asked us to pick out artwork we were curious about and she knew all of it, unprompted, and had such great insight. Pitti palace is way too overwhelming without a guide, imho. There is just overwhelming amounts of art in no particular order, and I think viewing it with a guide is the best way to go. Highly, highly recommend this tour and Camilla!

This tour is not to be missed if you visit Florence!! The building is not much to look at from outside but enter the doors and your breath will be taken away by spectacular works of art inside! Our guide, Sarah, did a phenomenal job describing the palace and all that it holds! After the tour we had a delicious lunch at their cafe inside then we continued our own tour exploring other parts of the palace!

This tour was good but not my favorite tour in Florence. If you are going just for the art you will love it. If you want more insight into the Medici family and see how they lived, you will be disappointed. None of the rooms had any of the original furnishings, just art work.

Great experience and the palace was not crowded at all. I do regret not booking the additional gardens tour with this, but the art and building history is gorgeous and fascinating.

Nice tour with so much art! Lots of paintings, and some furniture from the Medici palace. Good history from our guide as well. Good headsets so we could hear our guide and keep up with the info she shared.

I only give it 4 stars because the title is a bit misleading. We were wanting to learn more about the Medici family and this is not the tour for that. It is fully focus on the art that the Medici family owned and explanation on the pieces. The tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, it made it enjoyable.
