Your PRIVATE sailboat charter is hosted by Captain Dan, a licensed captain with 20 years of local sailing experience. Call to make arrangements for a private sail. Beginning 4/15/2021 --2 passengers bookings will be semi Private. 4 to 6 passengers booking will be a private group
You will board the "Wind Pirate", a very comfortable 40ft sailboat, from a private residence with parking. Complimentary bottled water & ice, as well as cups, plates and a fresh water shower are provided. You are welcome to bring food and beverage of your choice as yacht has refrigeration.
Your Sailing Charter begins and ends two miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will cruise down the historic Fort Lauderdale New River through Downtown. You will pass millionaires row, mega yachts and Port Everglades set sail in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The Captain is always happy to discuss with you various sailing options to design your perfect day.

Time on the water was great. When Captain Dan turned off the motor and raised the sails, you felt the magic of the wind. Dan keeps it as calm or as active as you want and everyone steps off the boat with that special smile for the rest of day. Can’t wait to do it again soon.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Captain Dan on our 4 hour cruise. He was very informative , we were able to bring our own food and drinks, and the inland tour was beautiful. The best part was when he put up the sails and we experienced the feeling of sailing. Some of us even went snorkeling for a bit, then we were able to rinse off with fresh water, had the ability to change and were able to go right out for dinner afterwords. I would highly recommend Captain Dan for anyone wanting to experience a private sailboat trip!!!

We had the most perfect day ever with Captain Dan today. The weather was spectacular. He had a fantastic personality and was such a safe, knowledgeable, fun boat Captain. We went on a four hour tour and it was perfect. His boat was the perfect sailboat for a beautiful day. Highly recommend

The sailing trip was fantastic. Captain Dan and Tracy were so accommodating and always there to answer questions and share interesting stories. We brought some snacks and drinks, kept them cold in the fridge and relaxed on the deck while we cruised. There was a little bit of rain in the distance but Captain Dan knew how to keep us dry and entertained. When we got out to open water we borrowed boat gear and did a little snorkeling. The trip back through the canals was during the golden hour which made for some great photos. This is a not-to-miss adventure, I highly recommend it.

This was so much fun! Got to sail the ocean on a windy day, even got to drive the boat! Beautiful views and Dan and Tracey were great. Would totally recommend!

Dan and his nice and comfortable boat granted us an awesome day. We definitely can recommend this trip on Fort Lauderdale‘s water streets up to the ocean and back and we would love to do it again some da.
