Penelope was my guide and was knowledgeable, cheerful, accommodating, and made everyone feel at home. She explained why each place was chosen and how they were special in the foods selected for us.
I was solo in a group of 11 and I could not have asked for a better evening. We tried a variety of foods from street food to classic sit down family style restaurant affair.
She provided a wealth of information about the history of some of the foods as well as information about varieties you might find elsewhere.
I would highly recommend this tour and Penelope (if you can get her)

Wonderful tour with a smaller group. Guide was very knowledgeable of local spots and history. Plenty of food and drinks- great value for money! Would recommend.

Excellent tour. Our guide Christina was amazing. It was a perfect way to start our first evening of our Greece trip to learn the food scene and visit the local markets of Athens. We highly recommend the tour.

Ok, gotta be straight up here. This was one of the best food tours we have done. And our wee family has done plenty of them, from China, to Poland to Vietnam. This was epic.
A couple of reasons, but the main reason was Dimitri. His passion and personality made the night so enjoyable. Food choices were excellent and yummy. History and stories were perfectly pitched and interesting. Venue locations were also brilliant, creating a nice vibe for the tour.
So yes, if you can, go on this tour, it was excellent.

We all enjoyed seeing various neighborhoods with Gregory and trying SO many foods. I was full after the second stop, but we had two more. It was a ton of food, so come hungry. Honestly, we ate at several nice restaurants during our stay, and the food from these smaller spots was the best we had in Greece. Thanks Greg!!!

Cat was an amazing tour guide ❤️. Not only was she knowledgeable about the history, culture, and cuisine. She explained this knowledge with such enthusiasm that it made exploring Athens so much more enjoyable. You feel like you're going on a nice walk to get a bite to eat with your best friend! My husband and I both highly recommend this tour.

We had such a nice time!! Dimitrios quickly became a friend. He made us feel as though we were invited into his home and hosted at his table. Dimitrios introduced us to the food & culture. We especially enjoyed getting to know his story & more about his life. He tells very descriptive explanations which help understand so much more & helps you see it all so much more clearly! He introduced us to him as well as the group & referred to us by name, hometown as well as destinations we had been or were soon going to in Greece. The foods were delicious & plentiful. The group experience & fellowship priceless!!! THANK YOU!!!
