We went of early to wait for our guide at the designated spot in Barcelona... Got a bit hot under the collar when no one turned up!! At last someone came to explain our guide phoned in 'sick' just before our departure ... but someone is on the way, then Katia turned up!!
If ever someone saved the day it was Katia... She was not only super knowledgeable, but also fun and had a funky spirit that made the day super awesome. Katia, not only a million thanks for making this such a memorable trip, but also, you were amazing good at your job!! And thanks for hopping out of bed so early on Sunday to rescue us!!

Katia was WONDERFUL! So knowledgeable and friendly. It was a cloudy day when we first arrived at the mountain so views were limited but it cleared up during the second half and it was stunning. Not a difficult hike, took the funicular up and walked down. Our 9 and 12 yo girls didn’t have a problem at all!

Katia was an amazing guide! She shared so many interesting facts and tips for our day trip and made the tour so enjoyable! The views were beautiful, the hike was about an hour and mostly at a steep decline. The church was beautiful! Great day!

Bosco is a fun knowledgeable guide for our hike and tour of Montserrat. Did the morning hike in late June and is wasn’t too hot. The Coca de Montserrat pastry was extremely tasty too.
Worth the bus drive out of Barcelona.

Tour guides were funny and knowledgeable! The bus ride was super enjoyable even and touring around Monserrat was incredible. If you’re looking for a longer hike, I would suggest a day-long instead of a half-day but still got plenty of steps in! I went into the cathedral and the museum during our free hour and enjoyed both. Definitely recommend!

Meetup area was easy to find in a safe central convenient location. Easy bus ride less than an hour. There was a threat of rain and we were offered museum time instead of the hike but we stuck with the hike and the cooler overcast weather was actually perfect. From the bus you take a cable car up the mountain then hike down. There are two very brief but steep uphill portions. The rest is downhill but I will say somewhat steep. We were fine but this probably would be difficult if you had bad knees. We visited inside the monastery, tasted cheese and honey at a small farmers market, and had lunch in the cafeteria. They gave us a treat of a local sugary bread upon departure. Guide Chris was lovely and informative. The only curiosity was that the bus dropped us off at a different location than we started - outside of downtown. We took the subway back downtown which was actually an easy trip just unexpected and had planned our afternoon based on ending up in the same meet up spot. Overall a great day, definitely recommend, and our whole party really enjoyed - myself, my husband, and our 12 and 16 year olds.

Our über canceled and the tour left without us. They had a 10 minute grace period. They refused to rebook us. Viator support refused to go to bat for us. We will look for another booking agency for upcoming trips.

Easy process for pick up and drop off with clear instructions. Was a great trip to get out of the city and see Montserrat however seemed a bit rushed and was very busy. Enjoyed talking to the guide and her knowledge that she shared.
