They changed the language and departure time at the last minute. The Park Guell included in the tour was not taken to us because they did not buy it on time.

It is obviously impossible to do Barcelona on one day. But if you want to see it, and it’s not part of your main trip plan to Spain, I would totally reccomend this tour. In a span of about 12 hours, we went from Madrid to Barcelona, and were able to see highlights of the city’s history, beauty, architecture, and glamour. It was like meeting someone for the first time, and having a great first date. Can’t wait to visit Barcelona again for a few days. It’s a magical city. And just seeing La Sagrada Familia was worth the day trek!

On another note, our guide Martìn was fun, kind, generous, knowledgeable, and made it the best day trip ever. Thank you!

The guy that was supposed to facilitate getting on the train was late. He hurried us to station and barely saw if we were all following behind him. He had mentioned needing to go to work so I’m not sure if he was late for actual job. We got to where tickets are scanned and at checkpoint they scanned tickets on his phone. We were given a second to take a picture of the train ticket from his phone with our phone, we were told gate 8. He then disappeared. When we got in line, our tickets on our photos in our phones did not scan except for 1 person who took a clear picture. We were told to step aside and they would manually be entered in. Phew I thought we had made it, but no. 7 people in our group and only 5 had train tickets booked under their name. Me and another person didn’t. We were not allowed to board the train. We missed our tour. Thinking back I realized we had introduced ourselves to the guy and he must have known those tickets were not ours. If we had taken clearer pictures of the ticket we might have gone not knowing they were not ours. We might have not been able to get back if the second ticket for ride back was blurry. Imagine not being able to get back from Barcelona at night. Blessed to have met Elaine from group that did not get to go on tour as well that was the only good thing about booking this tour,

Less than 24 hours before the trip, it was cancelled. Communication with this company was horrible. I sent them a message through TripAdvisor asking if I should buy Sagrada Familia tickets several weeks before. They never responded, and fortunately I did not since we never made it to Barcelona. We had a group of 6 (4 teenagers). They offered a Wine and Tapas tour in Madrid as a replacement option. Hmm, perfect for teens. The trips to Segovia and Toledo were all full. When I asked if we could just get the train tickets to Barcelona, they said they had already exchanged them. The reason the tour was cancelled was because of an emergency with the tour guide and no available replacement. I tried calling 2 days before to get more details on the meeting time and place. It was supposed to be a 7 am meeting and I wanted to know exactly where to be. They did not mention anything about the possibility of cancellation. They said they would contact me the following day with more info. Still had not heard from them at 11 am the day before trip. They again, said they would call me back. Then they What’s App messaged me that trip was cancelled. It was scheduled for our last day in Madrid so no option to reschedule. Ending up finding ecoTuktuk tour with a different company - which was great. But never made it to Barcelona!

Got off to a rocky start. Company canceled tour on the day we wanted it so it needed to be rescheduled, then, company gave us the wrong show time. Because of reschedule, our train tickets were scattered all over.

Tour in Barcelona though was great. Lucas did a great job, interacted well with all in our group and was a great source of information. Overall, he was a delight to work with. It was a busy day but very informative!

The group was small but the tour guides were full of life. Guiding us to the train seating, meeting us at the designated places were perfect. I was not happy with the early morning pick up point. It should be the coffee shop just 10 feet away. That would help all as the shop would then RECONFIRM that I am in the right place. Yes, I will recommend to all my contacts to use this company. Abdul amatlub Ahmad.

We enjoyed the entire tour especially the visit to Sagrada Familia. We enjoyed the company of both Lucas (entire tour) Cassandra (inside Sagrada) and we all agreed that if we were just on our own we would have never appreciated all the places we’ve visited. They are both very knowledgeable, very enthusiastic, very detailed and very engaging!
