On a 5.5-hour tour, we will take you to experience towering sea cliffs & pristine beaches of the Na Pali coast. Our Captain and Crew will share history, legends, and knowledge of local marine life. Encounter playful dolphins, green sea turtles & much more. Migrating humpback whales (Dec-March). Conditions permitting, we will get you into sea caves, under the waterfalls, and snorkel one of the best reefs on Kauai. Choose a morning or afternoon departure; both include food, beverages & snorkel gear.
Rafting excursions can be physically demanding, bouncy, bumpy & lots of fun. Participants should be in above-average physical shape. You need to be able to climb a sturdy vertical ladder to get back on the raft after snorkeling. This tour is very adventurous, Wet, Wild & Wow! Be prepared for an exhilarating day! All water sports and or Na Pali are conditions permitting. 250lb. weight limit per person. Snorkel time is between 30-45 minutes conditions permitting.

We absolutely loved exploring the Na Pali coast in the small boat! What an amazing day- the skies were beautifully clear, the dolphins came out to greet us and Captain Jen’s narration of Hawaiian history and culture kept us riveted. We appreciated learning how indigenous communities thrived in these remote areas. Captain Jen and Crew Julian always made sure all of us were comfortable and having a good time. We were especially impressed with Captain Jen’s skills in maneuvering the boat. She always had a keen eye on marine safety while easily steered into narrow caves, giving us the ultimate Na Pali experience. We also enjoyed having a private spot to scuba dive, loved our breakfast croissant and enjoyed listening to the music while we ride the waves back to the dock. This was truly a morning we will always remember! Captain Jen and Crew Julian went above and beyond and we appreciate all the small touches.

Our tour guide, Paul, made the experience for us. He was awesome! Really great energy, very informative on Hawaiian history and interesting details worth knowing, funny, attentive to every person on the raft and making sure every individual was accounted for at all times, and he really led our group well. He also had an awesome playlist to compliment all that we did. Emmy, Paul’s helper was also great and had awesome charisma, was knowledgeable, and a great addition to the crew that ensured we all had a blast and did it safely.

What an amazing adventure! Everything about this was perfect. Although be warned, this is not a pleasure cruise. You're on a smaller boat, sitting on the side with your feet tucked under straps and holding onto ropes to keep you in the boat. You're flying over waves and bouncing around with rock music playing in the background. You'll likely be a little sore the next day because you'll be using your muscles. If this isn't your cup of tea opt for the catamaran tour instead. The boat holds up to 14 passengers so we shared our trip with 2 other families.
The tour is about 65 miles round trip up the beautiful Napali coastline. We did the afternoon session and lucked out with clear skies and overall great weather. I was a little worried at first given what I thought were pretty big swells in the ocean but it ultimately made for a super fun boat ride.
Our captain Sky and crew Josh were amazing. Everything from the masterful way they navigated the ocean and waves, the choice of music, and the way they both engaged with the culture and history of Hawaii made the trip so memorable.
They tell you at the outset that the ocean conditions dictate what they will be able to do so if conditions are unfavorable you may not even get to go north to Napali, go snorkeling, or go into the sea caves. The weather and seas can change unpredictably so just be ready for that possibility.
Again we had favorable conditions which allowed us to see everything. The sea caves were a highlight and I won't say more and spoil the surprise/experience. Snorkeling was good but it wasn't the best snorkeling we found on the island. They do provide masks and flippers. The views are just incredible and the pictures can never do it actual justice.
You are also provided a hot meal on the trip, which considering the conditions was actually decent. I had chicken teriyaki with rice and veggies. Plus they served cookies and drinks.
To top it all off, the ride home was as the sun was going down so we were treated to those views and we found a pod of spinner dolphins that swan alongside us for a few minutes.
For me, this was an amazing adventure that I will remember forever. Totally worth the price.

Captain Sky and Julian were so much fun and gave us an amazing tour and experience while out touring the coastline! We saw dolphins, rode through caves and swam sea turtles! Highly recommend this adventure while spending time in Kauai!

So incredibly fun. The crew we were with was friendly, knew what they were doing, and did a great job explaining the island and the different points of interest as well as some marine life as well! Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Fantastic tour, captain Ren and Josh were a lovely team and took great care of us all. I really value Josh sharing his family connection to the land and waters. He told us some of his people’s stories and traditions related to the places we saw, and I really appreciated that. Thanks Josh.
Ren kept everyone safe and is a very skilled driver!! Conditions were great so we could go into caves, and she always stopped to let us marvel at the dolphins and turtles 💖🐬
Things you need to know before you book this tour:
You need to be fit and healthy, it’s a ROUGH ride in an adventure raft that requires you to hold on at all times, it’s not a Disney cruise!
Best suited to adults and teens. The younger kid on our tour was sick the whole time and didn’t have a fun day 🤢
You need to be able to swim! If you can’t swim you won’t be allowed in the water.
There are no seats or bathrooms on board so you have to swim to pee!
You might get seasick! Bring all your seasickness meds.
Na Pali is a very remote area with no cell phone signal so if you have serious medical conditions like asthma, allergies, etc you need to bring your meds with you, just in case.
Everyone gets a dry bag to keep their stuff in. There is a cooler full of drinks. Breakfast bagels were provided after snorkelling. We had breakfast before we came and didn’t need any extra snacks.
Totally recommend this tour, but book a massage for the next day because my muscles are sore today! 😅

Amazing experience to see the Na Pali coast by boat. Worth the 5 hour trip if that is important. The ride is rough so be prepared. Several passengers got seasick. You really need to hold on. Our captain drove us into and around a famous cave. I think that experience was my favorite part.

A must-do if you’re in Kauai!! Booked this particular tour as it came highly recommended. Exceeded expectations!! Ariel & Ren were our guides and they were simply incredible- I don’t think we’ve ever smiled so much and felt so exhilarated by the whole experience. They elevated the whole experience and made our trip! We saw so many other tour companies out on the water but our boat was smaller and was able to maneuver in/out of the sea caves and get so much closer to the coast. Incredible and a 10 out of 10!
