This vendor is poorly managed, has no signs once you depart from the port to direct you where to catch the bus and the 1st stop is quite a far walk from the port. The timing of the red and blue lines is totally outrageous and will leave you waiting for a long time. Do yourself a favor and purchase from the yellow bus competitor who is strategically located right outside the port and has high volume bus service. You can clearly see who the pros are, and this company is not even a runner up!

The bus stops are not where the map says.
The audio guide is not very thorough. Times between bus's is not close to what they said they would approximately be.

Choose another outfit. These people can leave you stranded for ages in the sun with nowhere to sit.( as they did with us.) Their map is misleading should you want to go to the market near the railway station. Off hand treatment from the bus supervisor and ladies in the booking office think you are disturbing their day. Most unpleasant experience and the stops are in inconvenient places requiring quite a walk.

Route not clearly marked. Not enough times. Refused to lower the front of bus to help people get on. Did not announce stops. We did see another bus company who signs we found easily and had approximate times & had more buses.. I normally love hop on & off tours. But not this one.

Great to get acquainted with Palermo but that’s about it. Could have done the same thing by researching early on but this was a good shortcut.

We were dropped off in Monreale and told they would be back in the same location at 12:15. We we were at the exact drop off stop at 12:00 and waited for the pickup. At 12:40 I called the provider who swore the were there at 12:15. If so, they were, they were invisible. Perhaps they were somewhere else, not where we were let off. We took a taxi back. The taxi was only 40 Euro and a better choice than hop on hop off.

Fun way to see the city. We learned some great facts and found some cute shops. The early morning bus at 10 work well as it wasn’t too hot.

Long waiting time for the buses. The yellow buses from another company do the sameroutes and appears more often and have a better stop at the Monreale. We took the red line the first day, planning to take the blue line next day. Getting up early waiting for at least an hour we were informed this line did not start before 12 - hard to find this information. You can skip this , or try the other company with yellow buses.

Was only a short stay on board but was very informative. The only issue was obtaining the final ticket to my mobile due to lack of internet was solved after a little while.
