What a great way to see the city of Melbourne. Yana was an enthusiastic and engaging tour guide, who showed us a diverse range of the City’s inner suburbs. Great follow-up video.

We loved our bike tour around Melbourne with Peter! It was a unique way to see a lot of Melbourne in a short amount of time. I highly recommend doing it early into your trip because you’ll get a broad overview and find things you want to go back to and explore more.

What a fantastic experience. Geoff was very thorough explaining traffic rules of Melbourne and setting us up. Then we were off for 4 hours checking out all the sites of Melbourne. So great to do touristy things in our own country to learn things we don't know. Even our friends from Melbourne enjoyed it wand want to buy these as gifts for the family.

The views is amazing, we should bring water because we had 4 hour to ride. If you join it, we have some knowledge about Melbourne.

It was a really nice, interesting and entertaining tour. With David, we had an excellent, very sympathetic city guide, who showed us the beauties and also the not so beautiful places of his city. This tour is an absolute must to discover Melbourne in a different way. We are very grateful for the valuable hours.

Craig took us through Melbourne by bike.
A fantastically beautiful route, not too fast but not too slow either.
Craig explained things to us very slowly and well (since we don't speak English very well), thanks again. We saw so many beautiful aspects of Melbourne that aren't in any travel guide.

We LOVE seeing an area by bicycle and this did not disappoint. Peter (our guide) was terrific and we cycled 12 miles all around the city. Not a lot of city-center riding due to traffic, but all around the perimeter. Very well done.

We went to the wrong bike company and missed the tour. Our operator was so kind to refund our money and suggest places for us to visit on our own. Hope to use him another time.

We went on a 4ish hour bike ride/tour with Murray with Melbourne By Bike. He gave us a good ride around the city and showed us some of the prominent landmarks as well as gave us a history of some of the past and present historical events in Melbourne including the music, theatre, shopping, eating and sports venues in the City. Murray even provided a demonstration of how to play Australian Football (different rules from football, soccer or rugby).
Melbourne By Bike tours are smaller (and thus a little more expensive) than other bike tour operators in the city, but it worked out because we spent more time seeing sites and less time waiting for red lights or for the back end of the bike tour to catch up (as can sometimes be the case with larger bike tours). We all stopped for lunch and have a bite to eat and chat before heading back to the shop.
Murray followed up the tour with an email with a nice collection of photos that he took of us during the day, some information about the sites that we saw and a whole list of good places to eat and drink at around the city. Although we took the tour on our last day in Melbourne, I'd definitively recommend taking the tour at the beginning of your stay to get a close up view of the city and develop some ideas on what activities you might want to do or places to eat at during your stay in Melbourne. The bike tour was a great way to see the city up close and learn about it from a local.
