Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Get an insider’s view of Hanoi’s food scene while exploring sites like the Long Bien Bridge, West lake, Ngu Xa village, pass by the French quarter and the local hangout “Train Street.”

1. Old Quarter
18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.
2. Long Bien Bridge
The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.
3. Ba Dinh Square
The third stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, you will be taken past the Ho Chi Minh memorial where guards can be seen performing their nightly ceremonies. Nothing captures the reverence and sanctity that the Vietnamese hold for Ho Chi Minh more than these nightly ceremonies. Following, we will head into the densely packed streets of Hanoi to the train tracks where locals cook, relax, and sell their wares. It is a bustling alley full of locals going about their nightly lives, right next to active train tracks!
4. Duờng Tau
The last stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours winds down with a stop to a popular cafe to try the famous Vietnamese egg coffee and a top secret desert which you only know when you travel with us! First invented in 1946, it’s a delicacy of whipped egg yolk with sugar and condensed milk for sweetness, and just a drop of vinegar to fluff the eggs. This is floated on top of a shot of espresso and dusted with cocoa powder. The end result is a coffee experience like no other, and a taste and texture reminiscent of tiramisu. or enjoy yummy Mango Pudding and Caramel dessert in place popular with locals.

Had a great time exciting the food scene off Hanoi! Our tour guides, Ling and Sunni were incredible! The have great insight about the culture and history of the area, and they brought us to some delicious food places. They had a predetermined route, but based on conversation and preferences we tweaked slightly 10/10 recommend this excursion if you’re visiting for work or for fun!

This tour is definitely worth it. I was paired with Mai, who is an excellent guide, knows a ton of great food spots, and even took some detours to show me some of the city. Even with the rain, it was a lot of fun and would definitely do it again!

We cannot recommend the tour enough! Summi, Hanh, Linh and Ngan took our family around Hanoi for the evening, sampling an array of food over 5 stops. They were really friendly, knowledgeable, organised and great with the children including an apprehensive 10 year old, who was loving every minute after setting off on the scooter. We all felt very safe and were buzzing after the tour.

Excellent tour and my guide Summi was so awesome! She shared so much good information about her city and local culture. All the food was very tasty and riding on the bike was so much fun. Felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Hanoi.

I had so much fun. The tour guides were really kind and easy to talk to. They had great recommendations for food and had us try so many dishes all around the city. We even got to see the train street! 10/10 would recommend! I would go again.

I was on a tour earlier in the week in Ninh Binh and a family mentioned their favorite tour so far was this motorbike tour so I had to book it! Summi was my tour guide and she is amazing! It was like spending time with a friend. We went to so many delicious places and I had a blast on the motorbike and felt very safe. Summi has so much knowledge to share and is just an awesome person. If I'm ever back I'd do this tour again!

This tour was amazing!! We had so much fun trying local food with Money and Linh. Having fun local guides helped us try authentic food with confidence and get to experience Vietnam in a whole new way. The experience was greatly enhanced being able to hop on and off the motorbikes and ride with the locals.
Fantastic experience overall!!
