Most people know a theme park inspired by one famous mouse. But one dedicated to monkeys? At Monkeyland, a natural habitat located deep in the Dominican Republic’s jungle and home to squirrel monkeys. Pick up was right on time and employees on bus very knowledgeable and nice. You had plenty of time with the monkeys not rushed at all. They took pictures but also gave you plenty of time to take your own. If you bought theirs reasonably priced. Plantation history was interesting nice to learn about the area.

Great experience, the host Gregory was very insightful. However, the travel time is very long and in addition, they make a stop at a gas station for approx. 30 minutes which they don’t include in the description.
The water is also only provided at the very end of the trip which after hours on a bus should be offered at least beforehand.

Did the monkey excursion along with buggies and a tour of how they make cocoa / coffee/ cigars. Both times we went we had PJ as our tour guide. He has such an awesome and fun personality . He's great with the kids and makes you laugh. I highly recommend this excursion. Lots to see and learn about this culture.

Passeio muito bacana, passamos pela historia local do Cacau/Chocolate, Café e outras coisas típicas. O transporte é bom. Os Guia Franklin e o instrutor de macacos Ares foram excelentes. A interação com macacos durou entre 30-60min, com varias rodadas de comidinhas.

This was a fun experience! The Monkeys were so cute, small, and gentle. They only like to eat fruits and sunflower seeds… I mean who really likes to eat their greens anyway? Lol We loved Angel and Francisco! They were amazing as well!

This was the best excursion I went on! Our guide Sammy was very knowledgeable and funny. I was afraid the monkeys would be confided and I wouldn't enjoy myself, but those little monkeys are spoiled as they should be! They are fed well and have tons of space outside to roam. They aren't kept in small areas or cages, which made me enjoy myself even more. You will learn about so much more than just the monkeys! The adults and kids all had a blast! The people working at Monkeyland were all very sweet. Don't hesitate to book it, especially if you love monkeys! It was one of the best experiences of my life!
