Welcome to the dark side of Bucharest. Close to the Old Town and even in the place where you are having fun in the evening, there are strange things happening. Be aware, there might be some uninvited “locals" joining us for this tour. As this place was inhabited more than 2000 years ago, the city has been a witness to many deaths, murders, mysteries and, if you pay attention, you will hear the voice of the underworld almost everywhere. The tour takes you to haunted houses and places and tells you the relevant stories from the history of Bucharest. Fear not, cause Bucharest has also positive stories with gods, good ghosts and other mysteries. Oh…let’s not forget Dracula, he also seems to be present here, given his very strong connection with the city and its past.

We had a nice walk around the centre with a very knowdgebale young guide that talk us about traditional Romanian miths and folklore but also about history especially the most recent Communist one and how all those historical facts shaped up the ghost stpis of Bucharest. I will recomment to group of friends. Also useful tips on good pubs to go after ;-)

Bogdan did an excellent job telling the local stories, adding in personal touches, and acknowledging the skepticism. We loved hearing about the local traditions and folklores. Great tour!

Was a very chill couple of hours listening and learning about interesting history not generally told or marketed to tourists. The guide Gabriela was very knowledgeable and answered every question very informative, even ones not about the subject at hand. Overall nice experience for the evenings after museums etc are closed.
