The 9/11 Memorial Museum in Lower Manhattan preserves the history of the attacks on the World Trade Center, and documents the significance of those events through building remnants, personal artifacts, first-person accounts and multimedia displays. With this admission ticket, take a self-guided tour of the museum's memorial exhibition and 3-part historical exhibition, which commemorates the 2,983 people who were killed, honors those who risked their lives to save others, and reflects on the courage and compassion shown in the aftermath.

Different experience for different people, but it is a great museum and memorial.
I spent 3 hours stopping at every station and reading every item, my spouse and kid did not take as long, but they were engaged for 1-2 hours walking the museum.
Buy your tickets early so you can get the time that you want. We did not take advantage of the guided tours, but overheard some of the presenters and they were incredible.

This is a must see. Pay for the audio tour $10, or buy it on your phone $9.99. We paid for it on our phone and shared the ear buds so two people could listen to the one subscription. It was an amazing experience, sobering, but amazing. My three children (17, 16, 11 yrs old) said it was the best museum we visited. (We went to Statue of Liberty, pro football, basketball, baseball, and rock & roll hall of fames on this trip)

This whole experience was amazing. The amount of time, effort, dedication to preserving and developing this magnificent memorial is incredible. This trip is worth every cent you spend and time you spend admiring, learning and sharing your experiences with others. A must see.

Gutwrenching, beautifully and honorably done. Lovely tribute to the victims. Thorough review of the events and people leading up to, at the day, and after 9/11. A must see

Beautiful memorial, but heavy. I was absolutely heartbroken and we didn’t stay for a long time. It felt wrong to enjoy a place that exists only because of a tragedy, but it is part of history so I understand why people may feel the need to visit and share the experience.

Well done. Lots of emotions. Especially the video of boat rescue. Well worth the entrance fee. And cool temperature appreciated.

This was such a great experience. We really enjoyed the headphone tour. It is a lot to take in and we would definitely come again as the 4 hours that we were there wasn’t enough for us.

E ora silenzio...........

Reliving the tragedy of that fateful day reminded me how blessed I am to be alive when so many did not make it through the day.
