We spent the full day there. Rented the golf cart to see the gardens !
We were picked up at the Hotel and taken to the Palace. We met our guide there. After the guided tour, we were on our own for the remainder of the day.

Absolute must to have a guided tour here! Our guide was informative and knew exactly where to go in the museum and garden. If I had to do again, I would have rented bikes for the garden

The tour itself was wonderful. I loved our guide, as she brought the place and the history to life with humor and extensive knowledge.
The one problem we ran into was that our passes to the gardens did not work (they said the tickets had already been used). When we messaged for help, we received new ones by text, and those also did not work. By the time we got ones that did work, we only had a few quick minutes in the gardens, and had instead spent most of the time just sitting around waiting.

We were picked up on time from our hotel for the drive down to Versailles. Our guide, Miriam, was truly knowledgeable, and the small group was so nice compared to the 30-40 people that we saw. It was worth the cost. Our recommendation is to buy the tram ticket and learn how the tram works; it can help you get around the gardens more easily. But the route timings seem to be random. The food was pricey but good.

Excellent driver for pick up and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice to obtain entrance ahead of people but not sure it was needed as it was not highly crowded.

The only issue I had was that because of the road restrictions in preparation for the Olympics ,we were not able to be picked up at our hotel.

Amazing experience worth every single penny. It included everything we wanted to see with the pickup and drop off on time and very communicative if they were going to be early, etc. Absolutely recommend renting a golf cart through the garden it is A LOT of property to experience. It is a must see!

A knowledgeable guide but hard to understand his English with all the background noise. Maybe if he spoke louder and worked on his accent, it might be helpful. Overall, nice guide. Worth the money.
