It was the only way to see the city and attractions in one day. If you want to get inside the major attractions (colosseum, Vatican) - I would book them strategically ahead of time based on what you want to accomplish. Our drive was outstanding - very accommodating, informative, and fun!

Terrible! I paid extra to get picked up at the airport and no driver showed up! When I called they didn’t even remember that I was supposed to get picked up. Absolutely ridiculous!

First, the company gave the wrong cruise ship name to the driver, which significantly delayed everything. Second, the driver’s English was not confluence at all with strong Italian accent; we couldn’t understand the driver most of the time. Third, once we got on the car/bus, the driver started selling us the guided tour package to Sistine Chapel, telling us regular tickets would take three hours of waiting before entering the Chapel. The guided tour was really expensive at $390 for four people. The expensive tour was said to be about two hours, but it was just about one hour. We did miss a couple of visiting sites listed on their company’s descriptions of the private tour, so we asked the driver if we could visit one or two of them after the Chapel visit, but the driver warned us about the heavy traffic, so we didn’t go to those missed places. Overall, we paid almost $1,300 for a supposedly wonderful but actually terrible private tour!

We had a great day and our guide was awesome! Communication was good he helped us get our bypass the line Vatican tickets squared away and was really pleasant. Got us right to each site as close as possible.

So much to see in Rome! We were brought to sites we were not able to visit before! Giorgio, our guide, was very nice. However, since our group was slow (bathroom breaks, some elderly people) plus a separate guided tour of St Peter’s Basilica, we ran out of time and was not able to visit fountain of trevi. Giorgio was making sure we would not be left by our Cruise. So there’s a reason to go back! We had a good day!

Emanuel made it possible for us to see almost ALL of Rome in just one day! He took us to every big monument that Rome has to offer and more. I was a little nervous booking this, because a few reviews stated the driver didn’t show up, but I’m so glad we booked this one, because we seen everything!! I specifically requested Emanuel, because of his positive reviews and he was everything we expected and more! He even took us to spots that weren’t specified in the description, because we had extra time. This is basically a private taxi driver, who drops you off right at the perfect spot to get pictures and waits for you. He isn’t really a tour guide, he tells you about it while you’re headed towards the monument, and then you get out and explore on your own and he waits for you with front row parking in the private taxi. He picked us up right at the cruise ship and dropped us off in the same location. The only thing I want to point out, is there is not time to go INSIDE of the monuments, as there are thousands and thousands of people!! But, that didn’t bother us. We rather see ALL of them from the outside and get pictures of all of them, then only visit a few, because of limited time on shore.

We rode with Marco, he was kind, knowledgeable and flexible. We were a group of 12, with 4 senior, 4 adults, and 4 kids. We had a Royal Caribbean cruise port day at Civitavecchia.
The company was prompt with communication and during the day trip we were able to visit key locations in Rome and get a glimpse of Vatican city ( we didn't have prior bookings) in a mini bus. Overall for the 12 of us this we ideal and comfortable given the 84F weather. Would highly recommend this company if you are short on time.

This tour was expensive, but worth it, and as advertised. This was a splurge for us, as we did not want to have to figure out public transportation and get around unfamiliar Roman streets. Our guide, Marco, met us at the cruise ship dock as promised, and we left the driving and the site seeing stops to him. He was a great driver and negotiated some very tight streets with ease. We had only eight hours to tour the city, so visits inside museums were out. Marco took us to some beautiful, historic places in the city, and we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. He also made sure we could reach him by telephone for pick up after lunch and on a long stop (Coliseum, Forum) in case we could not find him. Marco's English was excellent, and his upbeat attitude guaranteed we would have a good time. We left Rome in plenty of time to get back to the ship, tired and happy to have seen so much of the city. I would highly recommend Marco's tour, it was great!

Our group of 12 were picked up at the port by two separate vans for a short 5 min drive to the tour company's place where we switched into single 12-seat van and headed to Rome. Although we showed up a bit late, the driver waited for us, which was nice. The driver, Fabio, was a pleasant gentleman, didn't speak lot of English, but made best effort to share with us his local knowledge of area along with his good sense of humor, stopped at major tourist spots in Rome, gave us enough time to get a feel of the places and tried to cover as much of Rome as possible in the time we had. Don't expect fully guided tour experience and you won't be disappointed.
