This wonderful river cruise in Oxford includes a sumptuous traditional afternoon tea served aboard the boat. The 1.5-hour cruise takes in the highlights of the beautiful River Thames, such as Christ Church Meadows and the University College Boat Houses, as it flows through this historic university city.

Started late, ended a half hour late, and we barely made our train back to London. A lot of sitting around waiting at locks. If time is so approximate, you should make it clearer in the booking information.
Tea was tasty and George was pleasant, but the time issues made the experience stressful.

We did the afternoon tea cruise, all up excellent.
Very pleasant greeting at the venue with an excellent place to wait for teh cruise to stat, ie table, service, a bar, river vista etc, great drinks service onshore.
Boarded the boat, there were about 12 of us, reasonable amount of space. A selection of teas, Great amount of food, provided, sandwiches, scones, jam & cream and sweat items.
Great boat skipper, Nick, providing a lot of information as we cruised.
Highly recommend.

Great way to view the countryside, view the houseboats and get a feel for the boating and rowing traditions. Afternoon tea was superb. Becky was an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable guide, ‘ship’s captain’.

Wow wow wow wow wow. So impressed. Afternoon tea was lovely and quite filling. Henry our skipper was knowledgeable, entertaining, and a pleasure to share a lovely Afternoon with. Went for my stepmums 60th and took an 8 year old and we all had such a giggle. We will absolutely recommend and go again. So memorable.

This boat ride and tea time was the highlight of making our day in Oxford. We got to see the towers practicing. Went thru a water lock.

Excellent 3 hour trip up and down the river with an afternoon cream tea. Becky was an excellent hostess and driver and the beautiful weather was a bonus I could have only hope to have been able to book as an extra.
Most definitely recommend for anyone visiting or even local to Oxford - a perfect way to spend a couple of hours

The skipper was really friendly, chatty and informative. She gave enough history and background about oxford without it being too overwhelming.
The afternoon tea was delicious, and the scones were served warm and fresh from the oven.
I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about taking a river cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was great value for money.

Booked for me and a friend as a girlie treat. Was absolutely fantastic. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable about the area. Food was gorgeous and plenty. We had a fantastic time and most definitely would go again. Unfortunately the disabled access is a no. Not the venues fault due to location but I did find it tricky with the steep stairs down to the river. It didn’t hinder a lovely afternoon but wheelchair access is a no. I have limited mobility but did manage to get over it.
