The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento.

We had originally booked a boat tour when the company canceled without notice claiming the seas were too rough (although there were boats everywhere that day). We reached out to Viator asking to help us quickly book another similar boat tour. They claimed they found one that was cheaper because it didn’t include drinks and lunch. We jumped at it only to find out it was not a boat tour but a van tour. We were immensely disappointed, BUT our tour was wonderful. Alberto was knowledgeable and continuously pulled over for us to take pictures in scenic locations. While it was not what we had planned, given the circumstances we were greatly pleased!

Our guide, Andrea, made the trip! He offered just enough background information, recommendations, and humor. The van was very comfortable and our driver, Dominic, was friendly and kind. The towns are typical Amalfi coast - beautiful scenery, expensive souvenirs and delicious (pricey) food. Andrea pointed us in the right direction in each town and we had time to wander on our own. A perfect mix and a lovely day overall.

Views and tour guide Andrea were amazing. 3 beautiful stops to admire. Only thing was wish there was a little more time spent in each destination, but understood that is what we got to see 3 in one day~ All was amazing!

I loved our day to the Amalfi Coast our tour guide was lovely, she even showed me where i could purchase a lovely pair of white pants in Positano
We had a lovely lunch in Amalfi at a recommended place from our tour guide
Then we swam at the beach was a perfect day

It was a Small group tour so it was a very pleasant day. We saw a lot! The driver was open to where we wanted to go and helpful. Although the weather wasn’t great we still had a great day.

Since we did not want to drive along the Amalfi Coast on our own, we really enjoyed taking this full day shared tour! We didn't get to go to Positano because the road was closed, but that gave us some extra time in Amalfi and Ravello, which we really enjoyed. Nicola was an excellent driver and Tommaso was a fun and informative guide. Tommaso gave us lots of great information while on the road and had excellent suggestions for what to do and where to eat at each stop, which was very helpful.

Mariano was a great guide and driver. Made the experience amazing for both of us. I feel bad we didn’t get time to thank him properly when we got back but we were chasing our shuttle before it left.

Despite being a rainy day, our guide Michelin made the tour upbeat and filled with fun facts. Domenica, our driver, was masterful in navigating the scary roads of the Almafi coastline. The tour schedule gave us time to do what we wanted to do without having to rush. Highly recommend it to anyone.
