The art in the Accademia was excellent and the statue of David is impressive. The app provided plenty of information about the exhibits.

We visited the Academy after booking tickets with audio guides with Get Your Guide.
The exchange of reservations to have the tickets on the phone was a little complicated and cumbersome, but it worked; We went to the meeting point and at the reserved time, we checked in without waiting in line, as planned.
The surprise came when it was time to pick up the audio guides, when I had to pay for them, when the reservation included them.
I tried to explain to the person who provided me with the audio guides that I had already paid for them in my reservation, but it was of no use.
How is this possible?
We have made several tour reservations with this company and it has always gone well, but this time they have taken us for a ride.
Of course, the visit was wonderful and the audio guides were wonderful.

Just a ticket, no guide. If purchased with audio you must program your own phone to their app which is neither user friendly nor in sync with how current exhibits are positioned.

I liked our tour. I learned a lot about sculpture and Florence. Our guide was eager to share her knowledge and was able to give us perspective on the art. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is b/c I feel the name of the tour isn’t accurate. In the tour you talk about the Duomo and learn about the outside but you don’t go into the building.
