This tour was so much fun, and our guide, Maria Jose, was fabulous! She shared interesting facts about the history of Madrid that were different than the usual (sometimes dry) historical info that you learn on the usual tours. She took us to places owned by local families rather than touristy spots. These were the places the locals frequent and the food eaten by the residents of Madrid! Also, we met the nicest people on the tour, and Maria Jose made it easy for us to bond. Favorite activity of our trip! Don’t miss this secret food tour!!

We are so glad we did this tour! Jo was a wonderful guide-Informative, interesting and accommodating to different dietary needs. We visited 5-6 unique food places, and sampled a variety of Spanish food. Would definitely recommend!

Joe (Maria Jose) was an incredible tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and engaging. Nothing is too much of a hassle and she’s always ready to answer questions. She ensured that we are well taken cared of and even poured our drinks. Highly recommended.

We loved our Secrets Food Tour! My husband and I did the tour with our 9 month old baby and had no issues pushing a stroller on the walks between locations - some of the locations were a little tight trying to fit a stroller, but we made it work each time. Jorge was a great tour guide, very personable and knowledgeable about Madrid and Spain as a whole. The foods and drinks we tried were delicious, we were stuffed at the end! It was enough food for breakfast and lunch for us. The weather was slightly cold and rainy but most of the tour was indoors, so we just had short walks in the rain to get to each location. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely do another tour with Jorge and Secret Tours!

Truly appreciated the historical and cultural stories behind the food and the places. The food was delicious and well chosen. And the story-telling was fun, engaging and deep enough to really learn something new. Jorge was very welcoming, considerate and made sure everyone was cared for. He quickly worked around my food allergy and made sure I got substitutes for the dishes I missed. Highly recommended!

Walking through the old city of Madrid with our guide, Jorge, was a magical experience! He was personable, extremely knowledgeable about his city, its people, its daily life, and, most importantly, its food. At each stop we experienced delicious, traditional food (some unknown to us), and with Jorge as our guide, along with our small international English-speaking group, we had a most enjoyable and memorable time in this great city! I recommend Jorge and Secret Food Tours of Madrid highly!

This was such a great tour. Our tour guide "Joe" (Maria Jose) was fantastic. She coordinated things so well. She gave us just the right amount of history and culture with each stop. I also love that she took us to local places that we may not have known about (the calamari sandwich spot was my favorite). And after the tour, she even took the time to give each us personal recommendations on places go to in Madrid. She also emailed us all the spots we visited and what we ate, so we didn't forget. I would recommend this to everyone!

We loved this experience! In addition to eating great food, we learned about the history of the shops we visited, the background of the food we ate, and even got tips about what to see and avoid in the city. Jorge has fun and welcoming energy and took great care of the group, including accommodating me as a vegetarian. We’ll be recommending this tour to all our friends who come to Madrid. We really enjoyed this tour! Jorge is a true local and very knowledgeable about everything Madrid! We learned a lot about the history of Madrid which was very interesting. We also visited bars that we wouldn't have known about if it weren't for this tour. Lots of yummy food and we were very full by the end. We would highly recommend this tour!
