Loved the route, and the use of headphones to hear the narrations while we were passing by the famous sites. The bus wasn’t full when we started, but got more crowded as the day went on.

Unorganized, confusing, could not find on or off spots. All buses say hop on hop off and 5 made us get off because different companies. Really chaotic day please be honest in your reviews!

Great for the convenience and price, but some drivers were better than others. For example, some drivers failed to announce several stops in a row, causing us to miss sites we planned to visit. Also, the audio could be better. Overall, it was a good experience.

Now looking at the reviews wish we hadn’t taken this tour. We did the Athens route first - no headphones and no shade on top in 34c heat. We swapped at the interchange to the blue route to Piraeus - again no headphones. Nothing at the port, seems it’s mostly cruise ship passengers in this leg. Found a full box of headphones behind the driver! Interchange at Acropolis is horrendous. Tour guides useless, buses saying Athens which then suddenly changed to Piraeus, told to stand in a queue in the heat (not happening). Eventually managed to get a bus to sintagma and relieved to finally get off!

Horrible- waited for more than 30 minutes at the cruise terminal on a FULL bus in the heat. Way past the scheduled time- saying they were waiting on another bus before leaving. Also having been on several other hop on hop off busses- the audio guide is severely lacking.
Pick another company or pay for a cab.

We waited for over an hour in 35-degree Celsius heat at a bus stop near the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens to catch this tour bus. The couple with three children who were waiting with us eventually gave up and went home, and we also ended up giving up.
We understand that buses can be late due to Athens' traffic congestion. However, it is unacceptable that no bus showed up for over an hour. While we waited, not a single blue bus came, but we saw more than three red buses (another Athens tour bus) arrive. So, we gave up and bought tickets for the red tour bus instead.
When we later requested a refund, they refused, even though we never got to board the bus. Now we understand why they discount the bus tickets – no one takes this bus, so they sell tickets at rock-bottom prices.

The stops were a great mix of sights, the only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is that you should have the map of stops when purchasing the tickets ahead, as it is not clear where to go to start your tour. They only gave you a map after you found one of the stops.
Other than that it was great, just not as easy to get started.

Bus service was provided as described, no major issues. Just personal opinion the transfer points can be a little busy but just go with the flow and any questions ask the representative that’s there at the stop they will help. Seen way too many people losing their minds and overcomplicating things. Follow your map, follow the times and ask the guys on the ground. They will get you sorted. I can’t comment on the headphone pieces as I just take in the sites as we drive along. It’s vacation, relax and enjoy the destinations.
