Best Views of Bergen - Segway Day Tour

So much fun! We had never tried riding a Segway before but our whole family loved it (4 kids ages 12-16!) The training portion was spot on, the tour was interesting and kept the kids’ attention, and Simona made everything so easy and fun. What a brilliant way to see the city. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with this tour because it took us to places in Bergen that we would have never seen on our own. We loved learning the history of Bergen and traveling through the quaint neighborhoods that are on the hills surrounding central Bergen and seeing spectacular views of the harbor. The Segways were a lot of fun to ride up and down the curving cobblestone streets. Tobias was an excellent teacher and guide! The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Great way to see the city of Bergen. Unfortunately my ship docked at the other port and I had to either taxi (roughly $30) or walk (36 minutes) to the other port. I would like to give this a 4.5 but it wasn't an option. My biggest complaint was the number of times we stopped and got off our Segways to rest. Would have liked to travel more and rest less. Our tour guide Lexine was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. She took very good care of the entire group. Highly recommend this excursion.

This was by far the best excursion in Bergen. Our tour guide, Tobias could not have been better. He ensured our safety in equipment operations, was very knowledgeable about the city and its history and ensured all our questions were answered. Don’t miss this trip, you will not be disappointed. The Segways are easy to operate and you will see a lot of the city.

This was our family's favorite tour! We discovered parts of Bergen we might have missed otherwise, all while having a blast on Segways. The demo/practice area made me feel confident learning to operate a Segway securely.

Segway tours are the best way to see any port. My only complaint would be that where the Norwegian cruise ship docked our walk to our starting point was 30 min.

Wir sind das erste Mal Segway gefahren und hatten schon ein wenig Repekt davor. Gut geholfen hat uns, ein kurzes Anfängertutorial im Internet anzuschauen. Nach sympathischer Begrüßung bei unserem Anbieter Bergen Segway wurden wir von der sehr freundlichen und kompetetenten Mitarbeiterin mit viel Ruhe und alle Einzeln eingewiesen. Danach machten wir in den Räumen unsere eigenen Erfahrungen und fuhren dort auch eine schräge Rampe rauf und runter. Als Alle sich sicher genug fühlten sind wir dann im Anschluß wie gebucht durch Bergen mit dem Segway gefahren. Unsere Mitarbeiterin wußte dabei viel Interesssantes (auf englisch) von Bergen zu erzählen. Unterwegs hatten wir viele erstaunte und interssierte Blicke auf uns gezogen..zumal wir echt flott unterwegs waren mit unseren Segways. Wir werden antselle eines Scooters, Fahrrades etc. nun bei Städtetouren lieber nach einem Segway als Alternative Auschau halten weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Das Fahren mit dem Segway ist kinderleicht und sehr einfach zu lernen Leute! Gebt dem Anbieter ein Chance....die hat er verdient!

A Segway tour is definitely the best way to see more of an area in less time. Our tour took us to places we would not be able to see any other way. Our knowledgeable guide was great and explained the area and answered any questions we had. She took us up the mountain to see views of the entire area. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We booked this Segway tour a few months before our cruise. It was about 1/2 mile walk from cruise terminal to the Segway place. The building is also closed until about 5 mintues before our tour started. There is nothing close by to stop for coffee if you arrive early. We had a very thorough training before we actually left for the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable but too soft spoken that we hardly heard any of the information. It would be nice to have had the earpieces to hear him. Especially for the noisy areas we visited. All in all, it was a good ride.

Highlight of our time in Bergen. It is a very hilly city so was wonderful to power up the hills and get scenic views and see many sides of Bergen. Our guide was very informative and fun, she made the tour very enjoyable. We always do Segway tours in most countries but there were older newbies who learned how to navigate as the guides were very patient in teaching and had a great practice course, which most places do not have. It's easy to walk to or take a bus from the city center.
