This cooking class with Krystel was the highlight of our Mexico City vacation! From the moment you walk into the venue (beautifully decorated) you are welcomed and treated like truly special guests.
Krystel explains the dishes you’ll learn how to cook and what part of Mexico they’re from. Afterwards you head to the nearby market where all ingredients have been purchased fresh, and then return to the school to start preparing the different dishes. We learned how to make green and red salsa, Sopes, Tamales, white Mole, and corn cake - paired with wine or mezcal.
When all dishes are ready you sit down for a truly special meal! This cooking class is a MUST during your Mexico City vacation!

My family and I (total 8 people) had an exceptional experience at the hands-on cooking class and market tour. The hospitality was outstanding - complimentary tea, coffee, agua fresca, and alcoholic beverages. Lorenna was incredibly friendly and personable, making us feel warmly welcomed. The cooking class was not only enjoyable but also highly engaging, and the four-course meal we prepared was exquisite. The venue was beautifully decorated and provided a perfect ambiance. I highly recommend this experience. 5/5 stars!

Crystal and her staff were very professional, informative and welcoming! We loved the walking tour in the market, which included tasting samples and details on types of foods and items used in traditional Mexican cooking. We loved the team atmosphere created to prepare the meal and all the history and techniques shared throughout. We left with a cookbook and look forward to testing our new Mexican cuisine skills at home.

My husband and I recently took a fantastic and fun cooking class with Chef Krystel, where we made tamales, mole, salsas, corn bread, and more. The experience was hands-on, guided by Krystel, who was knowledgeable and friendly. Each dish was explained in detail, and we learned not only the recipes but also the cultural significance behind them. Everything we made was absolutely delicious, and the best part was enjoying the feast at the end. I highly recommend coming hungry, as there's plenty of amazing food to savor. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a beginner, this class is a wonderful way to dive into authentic Mexican cuisine.
