From late November until mid April we offer 2.5 hour private whale watching and marine wildlife tours in Cabo San Lucas. A great option for your family or group. We offer educational and non-invasive whale watching tours led by a bilingual Marine Biologist guide/photographer. All tour photos are included free of charge.
On our way out of the bay you will pass Pelican Rock, Lovers Beach and the famous Arch. After that your guide and captain will search for the whales. The most common species we see on our tours are Humpback Whales, Common Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins, Olive Ridley Sea Turtles and Mobula Rays. At times we also might see other species of wildlife such as Gray Whales, Sperm Whales, Blue Whales and Killer Whales. When conditions permit your guide will use a hydrophone to hear the humpback whales sing.
From December 15th until April 15th we offer our Whale Sighting Guarantee, which means if you don't see any whales you get to come out again for free (space permitting).

Our whale watching tour did not disappoint! We had the opportunity to see 3 humpback whales - mother, baby and a male. Payo (guide) and Hugo (captain) were fantastic and ensured we had a very positive and exhilarating experience. Payo's knowledge of the whales and their behavior was incredibly informative and Hugo was adept at spotting and carefully, yet expeditiously getting us to the location of the whales. Because the baby whale was so young, it stayed near the top of the water to breathe more regularly and the mother did as well. This provided a unique opportunity to witness the whales swimming together and being playful. Most impressively, the male whale breached out of the water twice very close to us and it was a remarkable site! Payo took high quality photos for us throughout the tour so we could focus on watching with our own eyes - we ended up with several beautiful high resolution photos to document our memories. Whale Watch Cabo's team was very efficient with booking and answering questions and taking care of us on the day of our tour. Highly recommend!

What a professional group! They really know what they are doing to give us the best opportunity to see what we're paying for ... WHALES! And they are excited as we are when we get a good sighting. Our trip was special because we got to see Mama's and their Baby's! One baby was very playful and doing belly rolls - which must be kinda rare b/c our expert Rui and our driver Dani were even surprised. AND thanks to Dani's expert driving and safety the whales went right under our boat! I felt they were doing everything to keep the whales safe (keeping distance, cutting engine, etc). Even in a zodiac I felt safe and stable in high boat traffic. IMO the best part of this tour is that they give you good, high quality, digital photos for FREE so you can put your own phone down and enjoy the moment IN REAL LIFE! I've uploaded 5 from them to see the zoom and quality. And 5 from my own phone to give a perspective of how close you can be.

Nice to have a dedicated small boat. Our group of 7 had tons of room, and the onboard photographer provided photos of the whales right away.

The best whale watching tour in Los Cabos! We had a private tour for four people in 2023 and loved it so much that when I was planning my wedding in February 2024 I knew exactly what I wanted to do: another private tour with a small group of family and friends. Our guide and captain were happy to help with the surprise of a quick vow exchange in front of the arch. We then went on to have the best tour and saw so many whales. Best day ever, and I can’t thank the staff at Whale Watch Cabo enough.

Lucky day...we we able to see 7 whales at the same time fighting with each other!
The trip was 2 hours at sea and we went to 3 different spots
Saw a few juveniles.

Our guide, Sarah (Sarita) was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and so fun to learn from! There were many many questions asked by our group, and she was able to answer all of them without hesitation! We were able to see a lot of whales in different areas, and it was overall such a fun day! Our captain was really great about getting on his walkie talkie with other boats to find out where the whales were and then we’d go zooming in to spot them! We had a group ranging from 33 years old to 70 years old and everyone had the best day! THANK YOU SARITA AND PERRITO!

Awesome experience with Oscar (guide) and Hector (captain). After a slow start, we finished strong with sightings of several small groups of whales, including amazing full breaches! Oscar shared lots of knowledge about whale biology, which was appreciated by all. Hector was a first-rate boatman, keeping the ride smooth throughout.
