We caught a train and walked about 10 minutes to the meeting point (Shinagawa Office). We found a Lawson convenience store to grab snacks before the bus ride to Mt. Fuji. The bus was comfortable and more modern than other buses lined up for tours. However, there was no restroom onboard, so make sure you are prepared before boarding.
There were two guides (one for English, one for Chinese). There wasn't much commentary on the way — which was okay. At the first stop, there were a lot of stairs to climb, so if you're not up for the physical challenge, you can enjoy the landscape that surrounds you.
We could "see" Mt. Fuji from all the stops on the tour — if there were no clouds, which was NOT the case 80% of the time. We didn't get a full view until the end of the tour. Granted, no one can control the weather.
I think the tour can be improved (read the previous reviews). The English commentary was lacking and made the Chinese commentary seem more informative. On the return, we were stuck in traffic with no open windows, and the A/C was not cool enough for the bus when at a standstill. The ride on the return was very uncomfortable.
Visit the restroom before you leave the park in case there are delays. If I had to do this all over again, I would probably just take the train to Shin-Fuji station and take my chances.

The tour was perfect. We had the chance to see the Mt Fuji, which was beautiful. Our guide was really interesting and friendly, thank you George for everything !!

The staff was honest, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The lunch was quite tasty, and the views were great. Well worth the money!

This tour gave a lot of freedom at each location. We did not have to follow the guide around, instead we were just given a time to be back at the bus. This allows people to do things at their own pace which was nice given that there was a variety of people doing the tour (families, solo travelers, couples). It was raining the day of my tour so we weren’t able to see Mt. Fuji, but it was still enjoyable as there were plenty of beautiful/historic places!

This was a fantastic tour of many beautiful, scenic areas surrounding Mt. Fuji. Our guide, George, was kind, thorough, and informative. We has the privilege of seeing the top of Mt. Fuji towards the end of our tour. Definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent 1 day tour. Very punctually and well organised tour. Our Guide Jorge has made a great job to give us a maximum of comfort. He gave us a plenty of informations about history and culture of Japan. Jorge is very friendly and excellent organised. We have a lucky to see Fuji San during the whole tour. Lunch was delicious in the small restaurant at the lake. The last stop in the small traditional village made the day even more amazing . Thank you for the beautiful time.

We were lucky and we saw Fuji which is absolutely awesome.
Our guide (can't remember her name) was fabulous!
The sites we were taken were great and let us see different aspects of life in Japan.
We missed a tour on the previous day and, lucky us, Fiju was covered in cloud that day.

It was very sad day because of the weather… it was raining the entire day without seeing the most famous Fuji!!! At the beginning it was a little disorganized at the pick up spot in Tokyo but later turned fine . In general was ok with the inconveniences of the weather..
