Let’s discover Frida Kahlo Museum and neighborhood from a different point of view, mixing top landmarks, beautiful parks, street art, colorful markets and take original and unforgettable photos!
We will show you all this while walking through beautiful Coyoacan - Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's neighborhood and first capital of New Spain up to 1523.
At some point during our journey, we will take a break to enjoy delicious churros with atole in a colorful plaza as well as yummy tostadas & aguas frescas in the market. We end the tour at the Frida Kahlo Museum where you will be free to see it at your own pace.
**The Whole experience last 3 hours, not including the time you’ll spend at the museum. Please plan accordingly: including the tour, the museum and transportation (Coyoacan is around 30 min from other neighborhoods), you will spend around 4 hours.**

Excellent tour. Rolf has an extensive and intimate knowledge of the area. We learned a ton of history about Coyoacán and Frida along with taking us to some wonderful markets. Highly recommended!

We were overall happy with the experience and enjoyed the visit. Our tour guide, Cedrela was very informed and engaging. Our only comment was that we really didn't "explore" Coyoacan. There was a lot of talking and standing in one place. We stood in Frida Kahlo's park for almost an hour. The whole tour maybe covered a half mile of area. We really hoped that we would get a more expansive tour of the pretty city. Our guide also did not accompany us through the museum which we were not expecting.

We actually booked the walking tour but was contacted the day before saying it would not run but could join the cycling tour. It was very enjoyable, easy cycling and safe. Our guide Tony was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and efficient. The group was from a wide range of ages and countries The food and drinks provided were excellent and generous.

Our guide Rosa was friendly and informative about Frida Kahlo and Mexican history. She was lively and easy to talk to. Touring the area before going in to the museum made for a great day. Skipping the line was also very nice! The tacos we had were delicious!

It was fantastic! Exceeded my expectation!!! The guide (Cedrela) was fantastic! Rich in details and with a lot of suggestion for next visit!!! In terms of requeriments you will need a very comfortable snicker and comfort clothes. Also a hat or cap is good! Now I can say I found my place in MXC!!!! Will come back many times more!!!
