We invite you to visit AquaRio, the largest aquarium in Latin America. Located in the Zona Portuária (Port Zone), the aquarium occupies a former cold-storage warehouse in an area that spreads over four floors and a basement. It is home to 8,000 animals of 350 different species, including sharks, sting rays and fish. Part of the proceeds of the AquaRio goes to research programs in Brazil focused on marine biology, environmental issues and sustainability.
This is a memorable experience for the entire family!
Roundtrip transfer, tour guide and tickets to the AquaRio included.

This is not a review. I just want to say how wonderful our Tour Guide was.
One of the best we have ever had.

Excellent tour to get to know Rio de Janeiro. The aquarium is excellent. Very good care. We then took a walking tour of some historical sites. Lots of information, clear and precise.

Spectacular, fun, comfortable and very good facilities, the only sad thing is that the "Chicago" wheel is under maintenance.
It's a safe place, right there

The aquarium in Rio de Janeiro is four-five times better than Monterey aquarium in San Francisco. There are sharks, sting rays, you walk through a tunnel with sharks above your head, if that's not enough of a high you need to swim with the sharks. Our tour guide was bilingual, so me and my girlfriend knew everything, no one was left out. Like any zoo, or aquarium the prices on food and beverages were high, but you can justify it knowing they have to keep maintenance, and a habitat suitable for the aquatic life.
