The sunset boat excursion was the highlight of my trip. I went with three friends and there were about 8 other guests on board. The crew was fun and friendly, and the drinks and snacks were delicious!

Pick up at resort was great.
Cruise was ok. It was a sailboat under motor the whole time - not a sail.
The route is very crowded with other boats so you are not going to get a clear picture or view of any landmark areas.
Drinks were good, guac and chips were delicious.
There was a photographer if that is your thing. Was not ours.
Have tips for driver and crew.

Crew was amazing. Kept the feeling light and entertaining. Food was good and drinks were better. It was a beautiful sail through the water and felt worth the money.

Had a great trip. Here's the important bit: the photographer doesn't work for the tour company. She was great, but we didn't know she's an independent part of the evening so we failed to tip her. I had to track her down through the tour company to compensate her for the great pics that she took with my camera. Otherwise, the evening was excellent.

The staff were incredible! The 40’ catamaran was beautiful. The food and drinks great.
It was a little chilly but the staff provided blankets. They even offered to take family pictures. The boat was not over crowded like some others we saw so it was very comfortable!

The catamaran is just perfect. The weather didn't cooperate for the perfect sunset but it didn't matter. We had a fabulous sail, seeing whales and a beautiful coastline.

The captain allowed some woman who was not introduced as part of the crew to sail the boat. It appeared to be his girlfriend. While she was sailing, a rope or something snapped. It was concerning to say the least. When we ended the sail, we were escorted back to the office where a “photographer” tried to sell us cruise photos. When none of us purchased, the price went lower. We were all ready to leave and had to wait for quite a long time for the shuttle. When the shuttle arrived, the photographer told us we had to wait for another couple on a different boat. After about 10 minutes, that couple arrived. Their photographer told us that the shuttle was going to take that couple to their hotel first, and we needed to stay at the pier another 5-10 minutes. All six of us on that were on the same cruise who had been waiting 30 minutes to depart were mad. This operation is poorly run. Lots of waiting around. The office and the boat were not very clean either. Book with another company and save yourself precious vacation time. The Westin recommended this tour and talked us out of one we had selected. We will be telling the Westin all about our experience.
