Pick-up from your nearest meeting point by your driver and guide.
Drive along the Sorrento Coast and enjoy views of the bay of Naples on the way to Herculaneum.
Enjoy a 2 hours guided visit in the excavations with an expert and authorized local guide: explore intact buildings, see well-preserved frescoes, and imagine the daily rituals of those using shops, public gymnasiums and thermal baths that can still be visited today.
At the end of the visit a little bit of free time will be given before returning to Sorrento by bus at approx. 01:30 pm.

Everything was coordinated well
The local guide was excellent.
Warning - you do need to be able to walk for at least an hour to cope and make sure you take a hat and sunscreen

This tour was a great, quick way to get some information & check out some of the sights. Only down side was I wish we were able to have a bit of free time to explore on our own & see a bit more as we only went down the left side of the site. Overall I would recommend it. The tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and funny.

Fantastic guide and great trip. Would definitely recommend. Coach pick up/drop off was simple, bus air-conditioned and comfortable. Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful

Very interesting to see how the volcano affected the town and how it was preserved giving us an insight in to how people lived at the time

Great trip and well organised! Coach pickup as arranged. Our tour guide, Desiree, was excellent . She was passionate about the Herculaneum site and as such she was very informative, funny and engaging and we had a fantastic tour. The coach driver was great too driving through narrow streets and sorry but can't remember his name.

was disappointed by this trip don’t feel it was organised very well at all! We had two trips booked through trip advisor and if the same company was arranging the second trip we would have cancelled it but thankfully it was a different company
The collection was poor as we had to walk 20-30mins to our collection point only to see an hour later another couple collected 2mins from our hotel who were also staying at the same hotel as us
The microphone was broken on the coach so we were delayed getting there whilst they tried to collect the whispers we used through the trip
When we got to the site it took another 30 mins as there was a problem paying in such a large group
The tour guide was lovely and interesting but did find his Italian/English accent very hard to understand at times
We were also disappointed to find that when our friends went independently to Herculaneum they visited a museum on the site inc in the price with jewellery and lamps found but his was missed off our trip which was a great disappointment

I had asked to be picked up at my hotel as I did not know Sorrento. This was changed to a new pickup point. I had the directions and allowed 20 minutes to get there being 73 years old and not a quick walker. When I got to the car park there was no bus. The reason I picked this company was because I was a solo traveller and didn't want to be wandering about. Not knowing where I was. Sorry to have missed this outing.
