Excellent intro to Johannesburg history, and current day activities. Very interesting. I was solo, but about 12 people from 4 different countries on the tour

The number on your everyone should do in Johannesburg. Our guide Thebo was exemplary: knowledgeable, humorous, punctual and an excellent driver. The tour of Constitutional Hill and the Apartheid Museum were sobering and informative visits. And even though I was born in JHB, the tour enabled me to visit many locations I have never been before and learn about the history and the people living there. The lunch in Soweto was excellent.

We learned so much about the Mandela family, Apartheid, and Soweto on this full-day tour. Clement was a great guide and shared so much history and personal insight as we visited the various sites. The visit to Constitution Hill was very interesting and the guides we had at this site were excellent. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Johannesburg.

Very informative overview of Johannesburg/apartheid history. Good tour guides at each location, and good South African lunch in Soweto. Only recommendation is less time at Constitution Hill and more time at the excellent Apartheid Museum.

Our guide Nathi was awesome, very friendly and informative, the tour was super interesting and included loads of places with enough time at each one, buffet at Sakhumzi Restaurant was VERY overpriced & not worth it as not enough time/not many dishes/food wasn't great - tasted heated up rather than fresh - would be a lot better if you could order off menu instead! Aside from the buffet, the tour was fantastic, thanks Nathi!

This is a great way to learn a bit about Joburg and its complex history in a day. You'll probably wish you could spend longer at places, particularly the Apartheid Museum, but if you only have a day, this gives you a flavour. Our guide Clement was very friendly and informative. Lunch in Soweto was good, although if you sit by the window on the road side you will be constantly interrupted by people busking and trying to sell you things.
