Such a great excursion, Emilio and Willy were absolutely amazing. We had the best time the Cenotes were better than we imagined and Chichén Itza and Ek Balam are incredible. Emilio is so knowledgeable and it’s fun hearing about his culture.

It’s ambitious to fit this much in one day but it was a really excellent mix of activities and if we hadn’t have been stuck in traffic for an additional two hours at the end of the day it would have been pretty easy. The guide and driver were great (JJ and Carlos). JJ has a ton of knowledge! Only change would be to skip the shopping stop even though it was a good place to shop, but it cut into the cenote time. Also JJ didn’t have a solid plan for lunch and the buffet at the Ik Kil cenote looked pretty meh so we just did the snack bar.

Roberto was a great guide. Very knowledgeable in the Mexican/Mayan history. We had a great day visiting all three sites. Make sure you have good walking shoes for climbing the steps at Ek Balam Cenote...

This tour was fantastic! Our driver was Adrian and our guide was Alberto. We were so fortunate to have them as our guides. As it was a private tour, they went at a pace we chose and customized the tour for us giving offering many options. Alberto was so knowledgeable and provided us the history of all the places we visited. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted for things that interested us. We were also able to swim in the Cenote which was also a great experience. Ek Balam was smaller and less crowded. Although there were a few vendors they were all located in one area and were very pleasant people. Chichen Itza was extremely interesting and facinating, learning the Mayan culture and beliefs. The biggest drawback were the hundreds of vendors that lined the walkways, sometimes blocking the paths and harassing the tourists. Alfredo informed us why this was occurring and the park itself had no control over the vendors. Overall, although it was a long day, it was extremely enjoyable! If you go on this tour please request Alfredo and Adrian!
