We were 50/50 on this trip. We all loved the glass making demonstration (very impressive). After that 50% of us loved the shopping of glass (Murano), lace (Burano), 50% felt they paid to go shopping, so this is really for someone wanting to see stores of glass and lace! The guide was great, sounds from boat made it hard for everyone to engage.

Frederico was an excellent guide. We had a wonderful time. Having a local Venetian to show us his wonderful city and the islands of Murano and Burano was quite a treat. He even called ahead and got us lunch reservations and had the chef prepare us a wonderful meal so it was ready when we arrived. Having a private boat to take us to the islands was a benefit as well, as we were able to tour at our own pace and never felt rushed! I would highly recommend this tour and our new friend, Frederico!!!!

Our guide (Emma) was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and made our day around the islands very unique. We had done the islands two other times on other trips to Venice but this was the best by far. The glass blowing viewing was fantastic as was the traditional boat we were on. She is local and has such amazing knowledge and education to share. Must do and totally worth it!

What a lovely tour! Got to see a side of Venice that I had never seen before. There was a private glass blowing demonstration in Murano. And shopping and a delightful bakery visit in Burano. Our guide even got us into an appointment only viewing of a lady sewing some Burano lace. Very special tour. Learned so much.
