The exhibition, which shows the jewels that Dalí designed between 1941 and 1979, includes the thirty-seven jewels of gold and precious stones from the Owen Cheatham collection, two jewels made later, and the twenty-seven drawings and sketches that Salvador Dalí made to design the jewels.

Loved the Dali museum, but difficult to understand tour guide with accent. Need 2 earbuds, not just one to be able to hear above background noise. Liked Gerona, small town.

Marcelo was great in guiding us in the Dali museum in Figueres and in Girona. The Dali museum was amazing, much more than we expected. And the walking tour of Girona covered all the highlights with great commentary by Marcelo. In addition, Marcelo was very accommodating to the group’s needs and to modifications to the schedule. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

My husband and I just finished a tour of Girona and the Dali museum with Ventura. From beginning at our hotel pick up, to the final drop off back at the hotel, it was phenomenal. He taught us about Dali, the man, and his art. We also learned a a lot about the museum itself. We can’t imagine visiting the museum without Ventura. We would have missed out on so much information and appreciation for what we were seeing.

We also had the pleasure of walking around Girona, enjoying a meal and learning about this beautiful town.

Thanks for spending your day with us Ventura!!! We are definitely going to recommend anyone we know coming to Barcelona to do this day trip with you.

Rodrigo is that cool local you hope to meet on every trip and I was lucky enough to get him as my tour guide. While my friends were happy to stick around the city, I was anxious to see the beautiful coast line but very shy about going on a solo tour with a bunch of strangers. But Rodrigo was the ultimate travel buddy, with a super relaxed vibe, I almost mistook him for a Californian! He made everyone feel very comfortable, had us all laughing, took us to the BEST restaurant and place for coffee where he was well known and received by everyone. We drove through the countryside and he pointed out all the different flowers and scenery and the day ended with him showing us incredible hidden beaches that will take your breath away.

There was also the Dalí museum and if you’re an art fan or a fan of the eccentric, I promise you this museum will not disappoint. It gets a little crowded so be prepared for that.

All in all, this was one of the best days I’ve ever had traveling. Up until that point, we were wasting a lot of time trying to figure out how to see Costa Brava, but Rodrigo made it so easy. From being on time at the hotel, easily navigating traffic, to dealing with difficult demands on the tour, he just made everything fun, charming, exciting and enjoyable. A day I’ll never forget forever. Thank you Rodrigo! Highly recommend this trip and tour guide!

We had a great time visiting the Dali museum and Costa Brava. Miquel is a wonderful guide - very knowledgeable and has a sense of humor! Kept my two teenage daughters engaged and made the trip enjoyable for three generations.

Luis picked us up at our hotel on time at 8:30 (he sent an email the evening before with this designated time). Our first stop was Figueres and the Dali Museum. Luis laid out the plan for the day and when he told us there would be a 60 minute guided tour of the museum, I thought the time was excessive. But Luis's vast knowledge of art, history and everything Dali proved invaluable. I learned more about Dali's painting style and technique and the artist's life than I could have imagined (I came to the museum with the most basic knowledge of Dali). If Luis didn't point out details on certain paintings, my experience would have been merely adequate; Luis made the experience top-notch. To add to this experience, Luis is engaging and a lot of fun to be on tour with! In fact, my friend, who hates art museums, vowed to leave after 10 minutes. Luis was so captivating with his details my friend stayed for two hours! We had plenty of time to eat lunch and explore the area near the museum before we traveled to Girona, our second town on the tour. Like Figueres, Luis's knowledge enhanced Girona. We relished his grasp of history in this town. Added bonus: Luis's expertise on GAME OF THRONES filming locations in Girona elevated this leg of the tour. Five stars and A+++ to Luis! When we travel to Barcelona again,we hope to tour with Luis! Marc and David
