Get ready for an exciting adventure in the Andes mountain range with this beautiful 5-hour (approx.) hike for private groups.
A two-hour drive will take you to the start of the trek, where a view of the Cordillera with its snow-capped peaks awaits you.
With your local guide, you will learn about the native vegetation of the area such as peumos, espinos, cactus, maitenes etc. Some belonging to the sclerophyllous or evergreen forest.
Along the way you will also learn about the fauna of the place, hoping to see Mora Eagles and other birds of prey, also always looking for traces such as fox and puma tracks.
Upon reaching the top, you will be able to observe the Tupungato Volcano, the highest of the volcanoes in southern Chile, with an imposing 6570 meters.
After descending and having spent a wonderful day hiking in the Andes, we will rest and regain energy at the Colorado Glamping, where we will be welcomed with an authentic Chilean lunch, such as pastel de choclo, humitas or porotos granados.
