On the other side of the Atlas, the landscape becomes almost desert. Admire the architecture of the casbahs which are distinguished by their turrets, their barred windows and their peach-colored adobe walls.
Continue to the ancient casbah of Aït-ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will spend the night in a hotel or riad.
The next day you will continue the road to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the "Moroccan Hollywood" Many films have been shot there, such as the Diamond of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, the Mummy, Gladiator, Seven Years in Tibet, Alexander the Great, Babel and many others. Return to Marrakech after lunch.
