Hike to Feinan following the Wadi’s riverbed (involves crossing water), and pass through the spectacular siq entrance to Wadi Ghuweir. See breathtaking scenery and many different plants and trees along the way, including palm trees and Oleander flowers.
This is one of the most impressive trails in Jordan, thanks to the water flowing in the Wadi, the steep sided rock canyons, and the varied flora and different microclimates you will experience on the way. The path starts near a small village, where the Wadi begins and quickly becomes a narrow canyon with a small stream running through it. The rocks you will see on the way are beautifully varied in shades of red, yellow and orange, and the pink oleander flowers and abundant green foliage make it a really dreamlike landscape.
Our hiking guides are all local to the area, and have knowledge of the animals and plants you will see in the Dana Nature Reserve.
