The Sea of Cortez is one of the most biodiverse seas on Earth, home to thousands of species, including marine mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, and invertebrates. Our planned snorkelling excursions offer a rare glimpse into the natural history and habitats of juvenile whale sharks and California sea lions. During this time of year, you can also see whales, dolphins, and mobula rays active in the area.
The Baja Peninsula is rich in culture and history. The ranch we will be visiting is located on the ancestral lands of one of the oldest cowboy ranches in the San Dionisio Canyon, nestled in the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. It maintains its sustainable, traditional lifestyle offering a true Baja experience. Enjoy nature hikes, exploring cave paintings, cooking classes in traditional Mexican cuisine, leather-making, feed and milk the farm animals and tour the organic gardens that supply our meals. At night, enjoy world-class stargazing.
