Archaeological investigations have turned this ancient mound of earth into an icon of Lima's rich culture. With an expert local guide, you will discover how the people of Lima lived 1,500 years ago, exploring corners full of pottery and traces of the ancient civilization. Highlighting the truncated pyramid of 7 levels built with mud bricks called "adobitos".
We continue to the new Chinese Park, a gift from the Chinese community in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Peru. Representing 172 years of Chinese immigration to the country, this public space offers details of Asian culture, with a Chinese gazebo, gardens and majestic granite guardian lions. Inspired by China, the park is the result of diplomatic relations between Peru and China.
