Marble painting has deep historical roots, with traces of wall paintings found on Shekhawati structures erected by Muslim Nawabs, Rajputs, and Banias dating back to the 17th century. The wall paintings of Ajanta, Bagh, and Cochin are also notable examples of this traditional art form.
