1 Day Akagera Game Drive Private Tour

Akagera National Park is located in eastern Rwanda with beautiful scenery plains and several animal sightings while on game drive. The park hosts the entirety of Lake Ihema within its borders which provides opportunity to take on a boat safari. The park is home to about 500 bird species and several mammals, and recently is home to the Big 5 – Lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants and Cape Buffalo. Animals to look out for include; Giraffes, Elephants, Bushbucks, Hippos, Impalas, Topi’s, Zebras, Buffaloes and many more. The game drives happen in the northern part of the park because of the terrain there but animals are all over the park. The park entrance is in the south and the northern gate used for exit.
