Because Chingaza is not just the Park. Very close to Bogotá, in a village of Choachí there is a Private Community Reserve, which stopped cultivating its lands to leave it as a corridor for the fauna that cohabits the Páramo de Chingaza. In 20 years its recovery has been impressive. In a few kilometers we will be able to see endemic frailejones, trail of the Andean Bear and why not be able to see it, waterfall, L}laguna, water sources, moss mats, tiny orchids, birds such as hummingbirds, Trogon, toucans, owls.
By walking through this beautiful reserve we contribute to its conservation (It is a private reserve, we will not enter the Chingaza National Park).
