The chance to learn Paper Mache from Rakesh Vyas, an artist who passionately practices his craft year-round, creating beautiful designs on his terrace, whether in summer or winter.
He finds great satisfaction in his work and enjoys watching both adults and children become engaged in the art after some initial hesitation. The workshop is exclusively held at his studio, where participants can also explore the artist's exhibits.
Paper Mache, literally means "chewed paper," "pulped paper," or "mashed paper," is a composite material made from pieces or pulp of paper, sometimes reinforced with textiles, and bound with an adhesive such as glue, starch, or wallpaper paste.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to take home the art piece they create as a souvenir.
