Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa (L, D): trek to Lao Chai - Ta Van Villages
Day 2: Sapa Trekking (B, L, D): trek in Ma Tra - Ta Phin
Day 3: Sapa - Ha Giang (B, L, D): Hoang A Tuong House, Ha Giang, overnight in homestay of Tay people
Day 4: Ha Giang - Dong Van (B, L, D): visit the villages of the H’mong, Pho Bang, Pho Cao, the former palace of the H’mong King
Day 5: Dong Van - Meo Vac - Cao Bang (B, L, D): Dong Van market, Pu Lo fortress, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Bao Lac Village, arrive in Cao Bang
Day 6: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall (B, L, D): Ban Gioc, Nguom Ngao Cave
Day 7: Cao Bang - Ba Be Lake (B, L, D): Ma Phuc Pass, Ba Be National Park, Dau Dang Waterfall
Day 8: Ba Be lake - Hanoi (B, L): hiking around Ba Be Lake, visit Hua Ma Cave, back to Hanoi.
