Frankfurt's traditional drink is a dry, healthy apple cider „Ebbelwei“. Traditional dishes are „Handkäs“, cheese served with vinaigrette sauce, or „Grie Soß “, a dip made of seven herbs, eaten as a main dish with hard-boiled eggs and boiled potatoes.
