Golden Circle, Cook eggs in a hot spring, Shore Excursion

Golden Circle, Cook eggs in a hot spring, Shore Excursion

On this tour from Reykjavik we will drive along the same path as most of our guests have through the millennia. This milennia old tour consists of Þingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss. We will make some extra stops along the way to experience eggs being cooked in a hot spring, home made ice cream from a farm where we can see the cows, pet horses and eat tomato soup in a tomato greenhouse if the tour is booked with 2 weeks or more advance, tables usually sell out after that. The last but not least stop is at the beautiful Kerið, a 6500 year old volcanic Crater with a pond that by some miracle supports wild trout. All in all an informative and fun day full of different experiences.

Private Northern Lights Tour with a Photographer

Private Northern Lights Tour with a Photographer

The northern lights known as the aurora borealis, are caused by collisions between particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole or Southern Pole. In Iceland, they are visible during the winter months, from late August to April. They appear in many different forms and colors although light green and pink are the most common. We have a team of Northern Lights experts, their primary job in the winter is to study carefully the weather and aurora forecast. This team helps our drivers to find the best location each night for our tours to see the lights. The truth is you can often see the lights from the city, however, they are never as clear and magnificent as the city lights making them less visible. Our driver will prepare the car warm and nice for the trip, and take you to the best location to see them. The northern lights are an unforgettable sight to witness and you deserve to enjoy the sights in the best possible conditions.

Snowshoeing Experience and Storytelling in Héðinsfjörður

Walk with us on a two hour tour in the white solitude of Héðinsfjörður, home to generations of North Icelanders.  While Siglufjörður became the happening town of Iceland at the start of the 20th century, the farmers in its neighboring Héðinsfjörður continued its rural agricultural existence. In both regions, winters could be unforgiving, and the history of region is a fascinating reminder of the stubbornness and perseverance that characterized Iceland for centuries. We will snowshoe through this beautiful area, sharing stories of generations past.
