Philadelphia is in three regions of the United States: the Northeast, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Great Lakes. It has a population of 12,773,801 individuals, making it one of the most highly populated states. It has an area of 119,283 square kilometres. The capital is Harrisburg, towards the center of the state, but the largest city, Philadelphia borders New Jersey. Among other large cities is Pittsburgh and Allentown.
Philadelphia is largely wooded back country that offers more views than can be counted. The gentle Appalachians roll through the state, and much of the state is hill and dale. The far Northern tip of the state grants access to Lake Erie. The Susquehanna Rivers wide rocky basin offers an amazing drive through the state, as well as the Delaware.
Pivotal to American history, one can see the location of the famous Gettysburg Address, as well as The Liberty Bell Center. Other sights include the Longwood Gardens, the King of Prussia Shopping Mall, the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, Hershey Park and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
