The Darwin International Airport is about 12 kilometres, or a 15 minute drive from the centre of Darwin city, in the suburb of Marrara. The airport is actually shared with the Royal Australian Air Force who have a base located in Darwin also.
The airport is the busiest airport in the Northern Territory, and the International and Domestic terminals have a range of shops and eateries.
The Kakadu National Park is a place even our team would love to visit, we have heard so much about this place. It sounds awsome! it is approximately 171 km southeast of Darwin within the Alligator Rivers Region.
The Nitmiluk National Park is another popular place in the Northern Territory of Australia and approximately 244 km southeast of Darwin with some beautiful gorges near Edith Falls.
Another great park is the Charles Darwin National Park and only 4 km southeast of Darwin. An easier trip if you are stuck for time.
Beware of crocodilles here. It has some stunning scenery and is located in the Northern Territory, Australia. Its waters are in the Nitmiluk National Park, flowing through the town of Katherine.
