In the south-east corner of Australia is the beautiful state of Victoria. Victoria is Australias most densely populated state and its second-most populous state overall. The majority of Victorias population is located in the area surrounding Port Phillip Bay. Melbourne is the capital city of Victoria, and is Australias second-largest city.
However, Victoria is the smallest state on the Australian mainland. It is bordered by Bass Strait and Tasmania to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east, South Australia to the west, and New South Wales to the north & is approximately 227,416 square kilometres which is home to around 5.7 million people. The highest point in Victoria is Mount Bogong.
